Il est situ\u00e9 dans la province de Castille et Le\u00f3n, sur la route entre\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Madrid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Madrid\u00a0<\/a>et\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Valladolid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Valladolid<\/a>.<\/p><p>Le ch\u00e2teau de S\u00e9govie est l&#8217;un des ch\u00e2teaux-palais les plus reconnaissables d&#8217;Espagne en raison de sa forme, qui ressemble \u00e0 la proue d&#8217;un navire. Il s&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e8ve sur une falaise rocheuse \u00e0 l&#8217;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 ouest de la vieille ville. De nombreuses sources attribuent la construction du ch\u00e2teau \u00e0 la dynastie almoravide qui r\u00e9gnait sur de vastes r\u00e9gions d&#8217;Espagne sous le r\u00e8gne du roi Yusuf ibn Tashfin (1071-1106). <a href=\"https:\/\/theworldinstamps.com\/?p=8254&amp;lang=fr\">La dynastie almoravide<\/a> a gouvern\u00e9 le Maroc et certaines parties d&#8217;Afrique de l&#8217;Ouest, d&#8217;Alg\u00e9rie et d&#8217;Espagne aux XIe et XIIe si\u00e8cles.<\/p><p><span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align);\">La ville de S\u00e9govie et son ch\u00e2teau ont \u00e9t\u00e9 conquis par les chr\u00e9tiens lors de la Reconquista. Depuis lors, vingt-deux monarques ont utilis\u00e9 la ville comme palais royal, prison d&#8217;\u00c9tat et institution militaire.
