More than two million people visit the fair yearly. Some foreign visitors go to Cairo expressly to visit the fair.<\/p><p>Many cultural seminars are also held during the fair period. This includes cinema and theater shows, plastic exhibitions and musical performances and competitions. Recently, part of the Azbakeya wall maket dedicated to second-hand books, was added to the fair.
