Al Aqaba est la seule ville c\u00f4ti\u00e8re et le seul port du\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jordanie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">royaume de Jordanie<\/a>. Elle est situ\u00e9e au sud du pays sur la mer rouge et le golfe d&#8217;Aqaba, \u00e0 environ 300 km (200 miles) au sud de la capitale Amman. En outre, il compte <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tribloo.com\/fr\/destination\/45\/plongee\/jordanie-aqaba.html\">19 sites de plong\u00e9e sous-marine<\/a> sur ses c\u00f4tes, qui sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme l&#8217;un des sites les plus riches en r\u00e9cifs coralliens et en vie marine.<\/p><p>L&#8217;objectif principal de la creation du parc marind&#8217;Aqaba \u00e9tait de prot\u00e9ger et de pr\u00e9server la biodiversit\u00e9 locale remarquable de <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mer_Rouge\">la mer rouge<\/a> et du <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Golfe_d%27Aqaba\">golfe d&#8217;Aqaba<\/a>.<\/p><h2>Le port historique d&#8217;Aqaba<\/h2><figure id=\"attachment_4030\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4030\" style=\"width: 433px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/theworldinstamps.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Jordan-2007-Aqaba-SW-2043.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/theworldinstamps.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Jordan-2007-Aqaba-SW-2043.png?resize=433%2C549\" alt=\"Tourism in Al Aqaba Jordan SW-2043\" width=\"433\" height=\"549\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4030\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tourisme \u00e0 Al Aqaba &#8211; Le vieux port- Jordanie SW-2043<\/figcaption><\/figure><div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, des fouilles arch\u00e9ologiques ont mis au jour un ancien port datant de la p\u00e9riode du <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Califat_omeyyade\">Califat omeyyade<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0(VIIe si\u00e8cle). Les experts montrent que la ville islamique est une extension du port d&#8217;Ayla (nom d&#8217;Aqaba dans l&#8217;Antiquit\u00e9). Ce port \u00e9tait actif entre le VIIe et le XIIe si\u00e8cle. Il faisait partie de la route commerciale reliant le Levant \u00e0 d&#8217;autres parties du Moyen-Orient, d&#8217;Asie et d&#8217;Afrique.<br \/>Les arch\u00e9ologues disent que seulement 40% du port et de la ville environnante sont d\u00e9couverts. La marina du Royal Yacht Club accueille actuellement plus de 150 bateaux et yachts avec des tailles allant jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 25 m\u00e8tres. Ce club compte de nombreux restaurants, caf\u00e9s et confiseries
