Mauritania 1981: The Battle of Al-Karameh

In 1981, the Mauritanian post issued a stamp to commemorate the battle of Al-Kameh that occured in 21st of March 1968.

In this battle few tens of fighters from the palestinian resistance and the Jordanian army were able to defeat the israeli  army that invaded parts of the north of the Hashemitre Kingdom of Jordan.
