Iraq 1970- 25th Anniversary of the United Nations – Remember Palestine
In 1970, in commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, the Republic of Iraq reissued the memorial card issued in 1963 on the occasion of the International Campaign to Freedom from Hunger after adding a special clarification to it.
In the new version, an English phrase was added at the top of the card: “1945 UNITED NATIONS 1970”
Also, the phrase “Remember Palestine” was added at the bottom of the sheet.
Also, the price has been crossed out on the three stamps and the phrase referring to the International Campaign for Freedom from Hunger
